Our puppy kindergarten is unique as it is 100% home-based training. Your puppy leaves our “Windsong” home and travels to one of our trainer’s homes. Because of our extremely high capture rate for training, your puppy almost always has a littermate going to the same trainer’s home. We feel that this is a gentle way to transition our puppies away from their mama and the entire litter. Once your puppy arrives at the trainer’s home, they are immediately integrated into a busy home and family life. There are older dogs and kids to interact with and learn from. The puppies adapt to being comfortable alone while still having play time with other dogs. Other popular training programs utilize a kennel situation which is very traumatizing for a puppy that has never been in that environment before. A huge part of our Puppy Kindergarten program's success is socialization. Well-supervised socialization is the KEY to help shape a puppy into a confident dog. At Windsong, we have proven success at raising confident pups that thrive as therapy, emotional support, and service dogs. Puppies participating in our training kindergarten camps will take part in our intensive socialization curriculum.

We can not emphasize enough how crucial proper training is to shape a happy, confident, and well-mannered adult dog.
